Despite the super weird weather we have been enjoying every last bit of summer. Todays adventure – riding on jet skis at Max’s friends house. How weird these kids are growing up with friends with boats and seaplanes in their backyards. We were lucky if we knew someone with a trampoline. Pretty cool to get to grow up on an island!!

Tonight we went by boat to the yacht club and had dinner. Asher drove us home half of the way.

High school laptop, ID and pouch pick up
Today Asher got his student ID, his phone pouch, and his laptop for high school!!! He also signed up to try out chemistry club, science club, robotics club , Jewish student union and more!! This guy is going to be busy. Mercer island high school here we come!

So cool that Asher does crew where most of the gold medal Olympians practice!! This is Asher carrying back an 8 man boat he just got off. I have to stay far back so I don’t embarrass him.

Max backpacks to Lake Ingalls
We had a Great hike! 5.4miles first day, 2800ft up! And back out this morning. We went with his pod friend, Max L and his dad. Max carried most of his gear including sleeping bag, pad, water, and freeze dried meals! We camped on a ridge and hiked down to the lake for dinner.
