Asher’s note from school 📝
Asher was very proud today to get a note from the writing specialist at school to bring home to us. He has been struggling with his writing and has been working very hard lately. Skipping from 1st grade to 3rd grade writing has been really tough, but moving from 1st grade to 4th grade math was somehow a breeze for him!
Adventures in Reading
Max just exclaimed, "Woah, these pickles are cheap!" Apparently he read the word "chips" a bit wrong. Too funny!
Max’s 5th birthday party! 🎈🎂
Max had about 30 kids celebrate his 5th birthday with him at our house. Apparently we have enough room for a giant bouncy house to fit, which shocked everybody. Thanks to all of our nice neighbors who didn't mind us blocking the alley for a few hours. Besides the bouncy house we had paint the pumpkin, pumpkin golf, pin the mustache on the skeleton, pumpkin TicTacToe, and a pumpkin piñata! We served pumpkin cupcakes, fruit skewers on a pumpkin, owl veggies, popcorn on the cob, pizza, apple cider, chocolate acorns, beer and wine, a giant chocolate cake and a lot lot more. It was quite the extravaganza!
