Afternoon in whistler

After a short nap we took the chair lift up (so much easier without skis on) to the peak to peak glass bottom gondola and crossed from Blackcomb mountain to whistler mountain 2,000 feet above the ground on a little wire. We hiked around and posed by the Olympic Rings. Afterwards we had sushi and blue gum ice cream in the village before walking home. Such a fun mini vacay!! Tomorrow the weather is supposed to suck so we might head home early. Will be nice to have an extra day to pack and unpack before we head to San Fran.

Whistler day 2 morning

This morning we did a bike ride and went to a super cool trick bike park for kids. Asher was all over it. We than did the whistler family fun park which included the big slide down the mountain and a bunch of other expensive fun things, had lunch and said our goodbyes to Hudson and Maddie.

Whistler in the summer!

Drove πŸš— 4 hours to whistler this morning. Met our friends, did a crazy β›° hike by an old broken down graffitied train and waterfalls, walked to dinner ( where the waiter informed us he has never had so many cocktail 🍸orders at 1 table) and 🏊🏻 swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub. Kids were EXHAUSTED! 😴

Zadie’s bday project

Asher had a great idea to make a flag banner for Zadie's birthday. Asher cut out all of the flags and attached them to the ribbon while Max wrote all of the letters! Asher said "I'm doing a right brain activity" excitedly. And we didn't even realize Max could write all of his letters so well!! These kids impress us more and more everyday.

Selfie love!

Asher is getting so big, but he is still a sweet and affectionate boy!

A minute before this pic he was telling me he wants paint dark green decagons all over his room. Ummm…😬
