Hi Kara and Brian,

It was such a pleasure to see Asher again today! He seemed to be in a really good mood – there was a lot of laughing. He spent a lot of time talking on the toy phones, and would chatter away and then laugh and laugh. We've been talking about farm animals this week, and today we sang "Old McDonald" and its Hebrew version, "Ladod Moshe." Asher liked playing with the animals on our farm, and he really liked working on our farm animal puzzles. He is SO good at puzzles. He was also having a lot of fun with the play dough I made this week, with oats and coconut and lavender and green tea stuck into it. He spent a long time filling up an ice cube tray with little bits of dough, and then turning the tray over to bang it out. He loves the peg boards a lot, too, and will look for them again and again during the day. We painted with Q-tips and glue, and tried to stick sequins of fall leaves onto the glue. Asher figured out that dropping the sequins into the glue made the sequins slippery, so then he had fun pushing the sequins all over the paper. This is why toddler art rarely results in a finished product. :-). He does love to draw, as well, especially on the easel.

Talk to you soon!

Asher visits gigi

And gets his first chocolate chip cookie!  Which resulted in a dirty white shirt.  So now he's shirtless.  Asher loves his Gigi!  And chocolate chip cookies.
